Sunday Six

I don't think I've every tried to write a book where all three characters are resisting the idea of being together. Each of them have their history, hangups, and are down and determined to fight this every step of the way. Good thing I'm stubborn.

"But, you’re not human."

Craig's mistake slammed into his chest, right where Aiden had smacked him earlier. His friend was right. He wasn’t human, nor was he a little boy doomed to follow in his father’s footsteps. The wolf inside him howled and pushed against his senses. For the first time since the creature became part of his life, Craig allowed his instincts to take over.

Many thanks to everyone who have been commenting!! I really appreciate your taking time and comming by to visit :)

Six Sentence Sunday is a blogging group started by Sara Brooks. Every week authors from all different genres post six sentences from their WIP or published works. If you want to read more contributions to this blog roll CLICK HERE.

  1. Good showing of his struggle. I was a little confused at first because I didn't know who said the line of dialogue, but I'm sure it's clear in context of the surrounding sentences...

  2. Good internal conflict! Great six.

  3. I can't wait for this one to come out Corinne!

  4. Excellent way to show conflict. I liked the description of the howling wolf. Nice job.

    Michelle :)

  5. "For the first time since the creature became part of his life, Craig allowed his instincts to take over." I like that line. Makes me want to know what he does next.

  6. You have written a nice internal conflict. Im looking forward to reading more struggle as his wolf takes over. What will Craig do now that he's accepting of this instinct? Good six!

  7. I'm sorry your characters are fighting you, but Craig sounds really interesting. Fun six, Corinne. :)

  8. Intriguing six!
And don't you just hate it when your characters are difficult? LOL.
