Sunday Six #6

~~~
"Well now, that sure is a pretty shade of pink your turn'in."
"Here cowboy," she threw the jeans she was holding at his head, "these are clean and should fit you."
She didn't want to be reminded of how he affected her. That would lead to thoughts she knew she couldn't think of in front of him. Those precious memories stayed locked deep away in the most hidden part of her soul, the small part of the real her that she only ever showed one person.
"Why don't you tell me why you're pretending you don't know me and I'll put them on."
Sunday Six #5
Missed last week because I was away but I'm back on track now. It's been fun playing around with my cowboy and mystery woman.
~~~

She rounded the corner and felt like she walked into a transparent wall. Frozen like a deer in headlights in the face of danger. Her brain screamed RUN but her body stood still.

She survived this long by staying away from everyone who made her feel but he made her want. Want to trust, and live and all sorts of other things that would get them both killed.

“See something you like, sweet thang?”

Sunday Six #4

Further to last weeks peek into my writing assignment, here's a bit more :-)

Six different identities lived between the woman he knew and the woman she now was. Somehow, their paths managed to cross again and now he slept on her sofa. She didnt believe in fate, there was no grand glorious Divine plan to her life. Nothing more then a single human trying to make the best decisions and fucking most of them up. Tiny strands of sunlight dared to touch his hair, if only she was so brave. Could he see her past the names and identities to the real her?
