I wish the best of blessings for you and your family this year!!!
The later part of '11 has been crazy for me and I've neglected my poor blog here.
I'm lucky enough that I had two more books in my Ecstasy Lake series published.
Embraced by Fur(Book 2) and Wrapped in Fur(Book 3)
I was also so pleased to be asked to be a part of the second Author Moments anthology. Harry Moseley, the boy who raised over £500,000 for Cancer Research UK, is no longer with us - but his legacy lives on. "Author Moments II" is a collection of essays written by an amazing group of romance writers to raise money for Cancer Research UK, in memory of Harry Moseley. *As a bonus, each author has included an excerpt from one of their current, or upcoming, releases. All the money raised from the sale of this book will be donated in Harry's memory.
I have posted a few times over at the When One Is Not Enough blog. If you have never checked it out you really should :) I'm lucky to be a part of this blog with a lot of authors I really admire.
Normally, I don't like resolutions but considering my sad lack up updates here, I feel the need to make one this year.
I resolve to blog more! :)
Hopefully, I keep this one.
Happy New Year <3

I'm honoured to be a part of this.
It's always best to start at the beginning, so let me tell you about his wonderful little boy, Harry Moseley.

He started makeing and selling bracelets to raise money for research. You can purchase your own bracelet HERE.
Harry is also very ill in hospital undergoing chemo in a coma and needs to go home to be with his family and exposed to fewer chances of infection. But he can't do it alone as his house it not set up for his care. To donate directly to Harry click HERE.

Harry’s twitter name is @harry_moseley
The Authors Helping Harry invite you to pitch in and help Harry find a cure simply by purchasing a copy of this wonderful anthology. (It's only 99 cents!)

Sunday Six
Today's six is from my first book in the 3xtasy Lake Series, Caress of Fur
Vencel moved to the doorway. “Lock the door behind me, Mai.”
She nodded, and as soon as the door closed, she pushed the little button in. The gun felt much heavier than she expected, and she hated the feel of it in her hand. Holding it away from her and pointing it away, she backed up to the opposite corner and slid down the wall. Placing the gun on the floor next to her, she rubbed her damp palms on her legs. What the hell did she get herself in the middle of?

Sunday Six
I'm putting the final touches on my WIP and then sending it in to my publisher tomorrow. It's been a lot of fun playing with this trio. LOL
Brand leaned in close and kissed the whipped cream off Holly's upper lip. When he moved to stand straighter, she quickly took another sip of her cocoa, coating her upper lip again. This time it was the man behind the counter clearing his throat that broke them apart. Shocked at his own behavior, Brand was about to apologize to the shopkeeper when the old man commented.
“That’s not the first time my Katie’s cocoa has had that effect on people and besides, you’re under the mistletoe after all.”
Brand looked up to where Mr Nata pointed and sure enough, there were about four dozen balls of the dangerous plant hanging from the ceiling over his head.

Sunday Six #14
Another six from my WIP, Wrapped In Fur...
Colwyn stroked his hands over Brands hip, biting him softly on the back of the neck. There was something about his scent in this partucular spot that he always loved.
"You awake?"
"No I'm petting you in my sleep. I can't beleve that you are here right now. I think I am afraid if I wake up, this will all be a dream."

Sunday Six #13
Embraced By Fur is finished and submitted to my editor. (**Fingers Crossed**) So while I wait to hear if they like it, I've started on the third story in the 3xtasy Lake series, Wrapped In Fur. It's a Christmas story and I tell you it's strange writing a story set in the snow and cold when the humidity is as high as it's been the past couple days. LOL Hope you enjoy today's six :)
Holly ignored his question as she snatched a warm pancake off the pile, munching on it as she left the room. Brand watched the soft sway of her hips as she walked and hoped his suspicions about her were wrong. He stabbed at a pancake but his fork hit the table and His aunt stood next to him, his full plate in hand, pinning him with a furious look.
“I’m going to need some firewood.” That particular chore was her favorite punishment for him when he was a teenager.

“I’m not kidding, Sloan. Put me down.”
“It’s only cold for a second, babe. It will make your back feel better.”
“NO!”
The arms around her tightened, pulling her closer to him as he jumped off the rock.

Sunday Six #11
Today's six is another peak into my newest book, Steamed Up Memories, being released tomorrow. :)
With instincts born of battle, he swept his blade up, ducking and twisting his body to avoid contact. Only, he moved a mere moment too late.
The sun flashed on a steel blade aimed for his heart. Time slowed to a crawl, giving Liam time to wish he told Tristan and Yzzi how much he loved them both. What a stupid fool he’d been. For one more chance, he would shout it across the clouds.

Sunday Six #10
Today six is another peak into the second book in my Steampunked Lust series, Steamed Up Memories. It's up for pre-order now and will be released on July 25th.
Liam wanted to burn himself onto her memories. He wanted to mark a place on her soul and one day have Tristan make his mark next to it. Yzzi was born to be between them. He lost her once before and vowed to never allow that to happen again. A better man would tuck her into bed and hold her until she fell asleep.
But, no one ever accused him of being chivalrous.

Sunday Six #9
Today six is a peak into the second installment of my 3xtasy Lake series. It's a work in progress and so far I love how it is coming along.
The animal pawed at the door handle before sitting down and staring at her through the sliding door. She swallowed nervously. Despite being certain that this was no normal wolf, there was still a kernel of doubt in her head. She wasn’t about to open the door without knowing for certain.
“I’m not letting you in until you show me who you are.”

Sunday Six #8
I've missed creating a Sunday Six the past month. Real life has been making me crazy. But, I'm back and hopefully this is the first in a long unbroken Sunday tradition.
Today's Six is coming to you from the second book in my Steampunked Lust Series. It's called Steamed Up Memories and will be released this summer. I'm in the middle of edits at the moment and I love the way this story has turned out.
Without further ado....
“Go fuck yourself, Liam.”
Instead of trading insults, Liam let go of Tristan’s hands and cupped his face pressing an open-mouth kiss to his lips. Tristan moan sounded of agony and passion as he speared his fingers through the damp strands around Liam's face.
Yzzi watched as Tristan gripped handfuls of Liam's hair preventing him from finishing the kiss prematurely. Muscles bunched and tightened in Tristan’s back and shoulders, and a split second later, he flipped Liam onto his back and broke the kiss.
“This isn’t going to solve anything, mo caraid.”

Sunday Six #6
~~~
"Well now, that sure is a pretty shade of pink your turn'in."
"Here cowboy," she threw the jeans she was holding at his head, "these are clean and should fit you."
She didn't want to be reminded of how he affected her. That would lead to thoughts she knew she couldn't think of in front of him. Those precious memories stayed locked deep away in the most hidden part of her soul, the small part of the real her that she only ever showed one person.
"Why don't you tell me why you're pretending you don't know me and I'll put them on."
Sunday Six #5
Missed last week because I was away but I'm back on track now. It's been fun playing around with my cowboy and mystery woman.
~~~
She rounded the corner and felt like she walked into a transparent wall. Frozen like a deer in headlights in the face of danger. Her brain screamed RUN but her body stood still.
She survived this long by staying away from everyone who made her feel but he made her want. Want to trust, and live and all sorts of other things that would get them both killed.
“See something you like, sweet thang?”

Sunday Six #4
Further to last weeks peek into my writing assignment, here's a bit more :-)
Six different identities lived between the woman he knew and the woman she now was. Somehow, their paths managed to cross again and now he slept on her sofa. She didnt believe in fate, there was no grand glorious Divine plan to her life. Nothing more then a single human trying to make the best decisions and fucking most of them up. Tiny strands of sunlight dared to touch his hair, if only she was so brave. Could he see her past the names and identities to the real her?

Sunday Six #3
Today this is a glimpse into a writing assignment I did in a class I took. What started as a simple idea about a can of coffee soon took on a life of it's own. One day I'll explore more of this story. Even if it's only six sentences at a time. LOL
~~
The sun’s warm rays lost their luster as she gazed down at the bullet cradled in her hand. Digging down into the can of coffee grounds, she unearthed five more siblings. A faint memory, from a past she tried to hide from, forced it’s way to the surface. She didn’t want to live like that anymore. Surviving one day to the next, hiding ammunition anywhere, and everywhere.
She wasn’t a killer anymore…was she?

Sunday Six #2
This is my second foray into the world of Sunday Six. After last week I couldn't wait for this Sunday. Reading all the other posts is just as much fun as submitting my own ;)
This is another peak into my first book Believing Is Seeing. After that second proverbial shoe dropped. LOL
~~~
“Amy, get in the house!”
Thankfully, she shook off her shocked paralysis and was running by the time Hypnos yelled in her ear. One of the creatures swooped at her, a claw just missing her cheek. She ducked and dove for the deck, landing hard on one hip. Pain shot up through the bone, stealing her breath away. The phone bounced out of her hand and skittered across the planking.
Six Sentence Sunday
Six Sentence Sunday is a blogging group started by Sara Brooks. Every week authors from all different genres post six sentences from their WIP or published works. It looks like a lot of fun and hopefully it will encourage me to keep this blog more up to date then it has been as of late.
This week I am offering a peak into my first book Believing Is Seeing
Quiet moments had become rather rare in Amy’s life as of late. With the sudden influx of not one but two men in her life, Amy spent most of her time in a daze. A rather relaxed “I just had my socks rocked off” kind of daze. The kind that can only come after having two men kiss every inch of your skin. Still, even she knew that at some point the other proverbial shoe would have to drop.
Drop it did, with a resounding thud.
It's Release Day!!
WOOHOO!!!
Caress of Fur is officially released today!!!!
Mai isn’t impressed when she discovers her friend has set her up on a surprise blind date, but a bad date is the least of her worries. She is about to discover that humans aren’t the only predators walking the streets of Toronto. Now, Mai faces two choices—returning to her safe world alone or standing up to not one but two of the most dominant men she has ever met.
Twin werewolves, Vencel and Gaspar, escaped their war-torn homeland and discovered a new home in the wilds of Algonquin Park. They never expected to find their mate in a fragile, human woman. Convincing her of their true natures proves harder than they anticipated, especially now that an old enemy has found them and is threatening to destroy their new home and family.
Adult Excerpt Here
I'm so excited to introduce you to this new series of books. Never did I imagine when I started writing this story that the residents of a small town would have such a large impact on me. It's a small magical community outside of Algonquin Park in Northern Ontario. A place where tourists come to visit in the summer but no one suspects what really lives in the forests surrounding them. I now have an entire community demanding my attention. I can't wait for you to meet them all.
Welcome to 3xtacy Lake.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I hope everyone had a safe time celebrating last night.
I spent a quiet night at home with my husband and kids flipping back and forth between Kathy and Anderson in Times Square and the CityTV coverage at Nathan Phillips Square.
Does anyone have an resolutions for the coming year? I try not to make them because I never follow through and then I feel guilty. LOL I'm relieved that the craziness is over at work and now I can get back to concentrating on my writing again.
In writing news, Steam Powered Passion is now available for Kindle. Click Here
Caress Of Fur has been accepted by Siren Publishing and will be released in late Spring. I can't wait to introduce you to Mai, Gaspar and Vencel. They live on Wolf Lake which is on the south western tip of Algonquin Park. I had so much fun writing their story. I have a huge soft spot for shapeshifters and loved writing about them.
I met all sorts of interesting characters that make up this particular pack of wolves, so I think I'll be visiting Algonquin Park again in the future. ;-)
