The Smut Meme

Isabella Snow started this Meme, it's just too much fun to pass up.

I used to hate getting tagged for memes, but it's been so long since I've done one I started missing them. So, I created one, and here it is. I actually had done a normal one, until someone remarked it should be smutty, so I've just edited it. You're welcome to post it on your blogs, the rules are as follows: You must call it the Smut Meme (obvious reasons, I'd hope), you must link to me in the title, and you must tag 2 people, and link to them as well. Oh, and you must post this little blurb at the beginning, like I've just done. Got it? Ok then.

The idea is to pick one or the other, even if you prefer neither. I'll go first. If you want to play along you can answer the questions in the comments

1. Chocolate or Whipped Cream: Chocolate

2. Leather or PVC: PVC

3. Outdoor Sex or Indoor Sex: Outdoor

4. In the Jacuzzi or In Bed? Bed

5. Bad Sex or No Sex: No Sex

6. Dominate or Be Dominated: Be Dominated

7. Thigh highs or Bodystocking: Bodystocking (hides many self perceived faults)

8. Fast or Slow: Slow

9. Rough or Gentle: Rough

10. Bite or Suck: Bite

11. Role play or Reality: Reality

12. Dirty Talking or Dirty Talking To: Dirty Talking To

13. Edible panties or No Panties: No panties

14. Spanking paddle or Bare-handed: Bare-handed

15. Landing Strip or Kojak: Brazilian Landing Strip

16. Multiple Sessions or One Good Fuck: One Good Fuck.

17. Moaning or Screaming: Moaning...loud

18. Older Men or Young Men: Older, but not creepy old.

19. Threeway or No Way: Threeway

20. Swing or No Swinging: No Swinging

And I tag: Mechele Armstrong & Mari/Mo. If you don't know the answers, make them up!

Plotting, Plotting, Plotting....

I have this giddy sense of.... hell I don't now. So much for being a word slut, can't think of the correct one right now. I just want to run around screaming because the story is coming together.

I've been floundering around is a pea soup kind of haze. I can feel the story and have a bit of an idea what is going on but everything is fuzzy and unclear and uncertain. Mentally I've been caught in a loop, the same thought seem to fall back on previous one and I couldn't seem to make a break through. There were plot holes that had to be filled before I go on but I couldn't seem to focus.

I mentioned this to my coworker and she pulled me into the warehouse and convinced me to spill it all. So I did. Sitting on a case of Penfolds Bin 389, I told her everything that has been rolling around in my brain for the last 2.5 months. She was able to pin point some spacific areas and give me a new way of looking at it. Exactly what I needed, even talking through the story out loud helped.

There is alot of work to do and many many many pages yet to fill, but it's working. I so want to tell you...but I'm afriad of jinxing it. I'm keeping my toes crossed, since I need my fingers to type.

Other wise known as an author.....

Overheard by the fly on the warehouse wall at work.

Me: Dammit Rose I can't get this frick'n inventory to balance. I hate this paperwork crap.

Rose: Not surprised.

Me: Whadda you mean?

Rose: You're a word slut not an accountant.

Have I mentioned how much I adore the woman I work with? I should mention that she's an aspiring 'word slut' as well, which might explain why we get along so well.

Why research can be fun....

Is that not exquisite? It's a picture of Hallstatt, a town in Austria, and I've decided that I MUST go there someday. The mountain in the background takes my breath away. Here in Ontario we don't have anything remotely close to that, unless I want to drive over 12 hours to Virgina, or longer to the Rockies. We do have the Niagara escarpment but it's not the same.

If what I have read and studied so far is correct then it's in, what in ancient times was, the Roman province of Noricum. It's also becoming a very important piece to my book.

Noricum was a hub of activity for ancient Celts who ended up settling there. There is a pretty much extinct Noric language that is suspected to be similar to Gaulish and Eastern Celtic. (Hmmm wonder what my charries are looking for there.)

While I have lots of research to do on the area, I'll have to rely on my reactions to pictures and what I read to come up with a plausible storyline and believable characters. That is unless I suddenly win the lotto and can afford to fly to the places that I want to write about.

If anyone has been there or lives there and is willing to share some experiences I'd love to hear about it!!!
